When it goes out of history, I just open a file, where I have saved it and copy from there. So it’s pretty crude.

I was hoping that either the KDE Social web interface would add a “Signature” feature or I would pick some Lemmy application that would allow that, but for now it’s just this.

Perhaps, if I feel like it’s being too frequent, I may set a compose key for it.

I saw another post with “Anti Commercial AI License”, then wen on to read the license and went, “Neat!”.

• It makes it easier for anyone to decide what to do if they want to use my comment/post (in cases where it actually has something useful)
• It makes life just a bit harder for people data-mining for AI
  • That way, some data entry worker will probably ask for a raise and probably even get it and maybe some entrepreneur going “AI everywhere!” will think twice.
  • Or there will be a chatbot spouting “Anti Commercial AI License” or “CC By-NC-SA” in their answer text, which would be hilarious.

I use Gnome at work, on an older (supposedly stable) version of RedHat and there are a few ways it breaks, but when it does, it Breaks Bad. I would be fine with said breakages if it were not trying to claim focussing on having lesser bugs and in turn reducing customisability to such low levels that changing stuff like animation speed (which, by default is set to productivity destroying speeds), is not possible from the default repos.

KDE and related applications are much more tolerable and when I find a bug I tend to be happy to report.

But turns out it was just a conflicts with change.

From what I know, pacman straight-up asks you what you want, in these cases. Sure, it’s technically manual intervention, but for me, who scans over updated packages every-time, this is considered standard procedure.

Manual intervention is when GRUB doesn’t install properly using the suggested command and you have to learn where your distro places the boot image and configure stuff accordingly.

It’s been a while for me, but I think there was something specially for thumbnails too. You might find one if you go into the folder options and set a folder to optimized for pictures/videos and add some to it.

Set a key as a modifier key and program the character provider function in your text editor to to give the corresponding capital letter of whatever key is pressed, in case the modifier key is down.

Growing grain for the vegan brand will require more pesticides. It’s as if noone is really reading.

What I am putting up there, is that, stopping meat is not the problem.
The problem arises with using the veganism buzzword, which will make people think that paying those who advertise vegan stuff would make anything better.

It would most definitely make it worse than whole vegetarian (which includes putting up with the insects and worms that come during farming) and might even end up being as much of a burden as the meat industry.
People will think they are doing better, while not actually doing better, which is worse than the status quo.
