You think I’m being melodramatic? Historians make careers on turning points like this. We can never know exactly what will happen next, but we can at least be sure that normality is not on the menu.
Nice. They were a troll who started an account 2 months before the election and began immediately flooding lemmy with an average of 82 posts/comments each day. Just about everything they posted was encouraging people to vote third party.
After piles of complaints, the account was finally banned two weeks ago. Besides shilling for Stein, they also were a prolific sealion, knowing exactly how to piss everyone off to the greatest extent while “not breaking rules” (they absolutely broke the rule against trolling, constantly). Mods pretended this was simply a matter of a “shitty opinion” but when the outcry reached its climax, they finally banned the fuck.
Oh good grief.
nice apathy + username combination
don’t worry- things have been stable since mcdonalds! nothing can change, just ask Turkey

Normality has been off the menu for a decade or so, sunshine.
My guess is that when asked if we could stop talking about it for a bit, you decide to multi-post your theses.

Not me. Anyways, I’m going to find another community.
Don’t let the door hit you
Yeah, it’s dramatic nonsense to assume Trump will do what he and his party said he’ll do.

Do I need this? /s
It may not surprise you that the person you responded to was a hard defender of banned troll universalmonk.
I’m happy to not know who that is :-) it means my filters are working.

Ahhh. I hope they were at least paid for that kind of effort. Otherwise, that’s a sad existence.
