None of their allies are trustworthy or truly care about the Palestinian cause
They hate Palestinians. They just hate Israelis more. The way Palestinians are treated in the neighboring countries they have fled to is only marginally better than Israel treats them under the apartheid they were living in (I’m not talking about the current genocide, I’m talking about somewhat more peaceful times when they were still being oppressed). Egypt treats Palestinians terribly. They refuse to allow them to apply for citizenship under the excuse that Israel won’t let them back if they do. Which you would think would be the applicant’s choice, but that’s why its just an excuse. The fact is they don’t want Palestinians in Egypt to have any level of power.
