There’s some weird people with a hate boner for Mozilla and nobody knows why. I suspect they’re paid by a competitor.

Not to mention they were warned many times before about serving coffee that’s too hot. The woman got such a huge settlement because the judge was tired of McDonald’s crap
Or “just write it down”
You get sick and tired of tripping over things and the constant fear of having company over helps.
I spent this weekend actually taking care of the large boxes I horde from deliveries and it feels good to have space again.
Lol no they didn’t.
I was with a large organization as tech support and upper IT pushed out an update that corrupted everybody’s certificates to log into the network. Imagine having to talk 40k users, who most of them whined and bitched to us about having to do all this work to fix the computer, through a removal of the old certificate, reboot, get the new one after logging in with a backup account, rebooting again and verifying that they can log in. Each computer was about 20-40 minutes to get done. We only had about 50 of us working at peak hours. It took about 2 months of non stop calls to get them fixed.
I’ve got over 1k in flight sim equipment that I haven’t touched in 4 years but tbf i did stick with that hobby for about 10 years
I used to use a sound card until it died. When I researched how to get good sound I found most people use a DAC/amp combo now. But onboard is usually good enough. It was a noticable upgrade but not sure if it was worth the money.
They’re not. They’re just drones regurgitating any and all propaganda they can find.
If buying isn’t owning then piracy isn’t stealing.
Right now? Brother, they’ve been on my shit list for over a decade.
My mom would have to make me put books down to eat dinner. Then came along 5th grade. We had to read 50 books, each one representing a US state and the states were grouped up in different categories. The books had to be chosen from a pre approved list and the books were anywhere from 6th grade to 8th grade reading difficulty. Then we had to write a full page summary on the book. Which meant on average we were reading more than a book a week. That piled on top of all the other homework the other teachers piled on and it was fucking miserable. I spent almost every school night from the moment I got home to the moment I had to go to bed doing homework, also I had to get up early because I was the first bus stop so yay getting up at 5:30 AM to make the bus. Bonus was I was also the last stop so I got to spend over 2 hours a day on the bus. I usually had so much homework that I’d start doing it on the bus home. Oh and if you fell behind in reading you got punished by staying inside for 2nd recess to read more. By the time I left 5th grade I hated school, I hated reading, I hated teachers, and I hated learning. And I still do to this day. I feel like the education system failed me and I’m suffering for it now.
Obviously…
I guess I meant not all of them and especially not at the same time but that wasn’t clear in my first post. I understand that a baseline is needed but if during daytime they’re generating excess constantly then shutting down a few wouldn’t hurt. Especially since Germany is one of the biggest offenders in the world when it comes to coal. Storage is definitely a concern but in case of surges there’s other power from neighboring countries that can help with the demand. Sodium ion batteries are looking like a good possibility.
They could always just close their coal power plants. Idk why they don’t.
One of previous jobs worked me so hard my leg hurts when a storm is coming. This happened in my early 20s
