    So why should anyone arrest Putin?

      Yeah, might as well close down the ICC then I guess. Not much use for it if governments do whatever they want anyway.

        The benefits comes for local efforts to held governments responsible towards war crimes.

        Let’s say in Canada, if there are a non-profit that send money to the IDF then after such ruling you can push to stop these non-profit from doing so.

        I think without these international courts, local government will get away with more crimes.
