In fact, getting to the end with help from strangers actually feels more in keeping with the themes of the game.

It’s pretty easy to lookup exactly where you are and find mostly spoiler free walkthroughs or sometimes even hints. IIRC there are a few spots that a lot of people got hung up on. This game is too good not to finish.
