          Usually in a situation where people are being used as shields the reaction is not to indiscriminately murder all the people then say “we did it! the hostage-taker is dead!”.

            One immutable truth of wars is that aggressors set the rules. Hamas likes to fight in schools and hospitals…they’re straight up monsters - the people who support them aren’t much better.
