Then why there are so many of them? It is international platform, then why it should be under one of superpowers? we here for shit and giggles aren’t we? Then why politics should be pushed down our throat even when we are not target of these posts, why they should be dominant when we seek to avoid them?

I don’t know the exact metrics of Lemmy but I’d wager it skews US centric. Just block the people posting them, it works.
