Say what you will, it’s stereotyping against an animal, and therefore speciest by definition. No distinction is made that it’s the shitty bears. And if any ursine were to protest against it, they would be labelled an aggressor and dismissed as mad for being challenged or called out when they are simply protesting unconcealed prejudice.
His point, which I agree with, is that as true as the statement can be, it’s still inherently sexist. Not the original commenters thoughts, but mine - the ‘PC movement’ or maybe it’s just the human race has swung so far off reality, good things that make sense are being dismissed.
It’s okay to say not every man is bad, just as it’s okay for women to have that fear. But we are at a point where people’s lives are destroyed at an accusation, nil evidence is required and if you are against it in any way, shape or form you’re a terrible person, apparently.

When the number of people’s lives destroyed by an accusation numbers even 1/10 of the number of people’s lives destroyed by being assaulted, maybe we can talk about it 1/10 of the time instead of bringing it up every time women talk about being assaulted.
