I don’t think it has anything to do with censorship and the swipe library doesn’t use AI. It’s just a very ambiguous swipe near very common letters.
On a hunch, I tried simply holding for 1 second on the E. It seems to work a lot better than a loop. You can even see the hovering word change from “we” to “wee” while paused on the E.
I say it’s censorship because I’ve noticed “dirty” words almost always need to be typed out letter by letter but I can swipe for 90% of the other words I want to use.
I can use swipe to spell hypothalamus but can’t use it to say fuck without typing it in over and over or deliberately adding it to my phones dictionary.
