Regardless, if you don’t want people to question the news source it was probably a mistake post it (here or elsewhere) instead of posting the thing you actually wanted to discuss.

They are blaming BLM for police refusing to do their jobs. Also they seem to be blaming them for the spike in murders during COVID lockdowns, which seems more likely to be related to everyone’s mental health breaking down due to the pandemic.

I’ve been considering trying to DIY some sandwich bread, but I don’t bake ever so it feels intimidating. Do you have a link to the recipe? How long does it hold up before going stale?
It seems like the store bought stuff is getting so expensive, plus it’s probably full of garbage I don’t need to be eating. DIY is starting to seem more appealing.
I was not prepared for the deliberate manipulation that was done to get the child into his custody. I’d assumed she was already in his custody and there were people trying to get the custody from him. But no, she was in her biological family’s custody and he tricked them into handing her over. This is straight up evil.
To be fair, it is called corpse pose. I guess the yogis were just too convincing for that poor person who saw them.

I remember when people would always complain that Facebook was just pictures of people’s kids. I miss that. I want to see pictures of your kids, pets, travels, meals, whatever else you want to share of your life. I don’t want to see whatever propaganda or rage bait you’ve fallen for most recently.
So we should take away something that is necessary to someone helping themselves (have you tried to apply for a job or take a class without using the internet recently, it’s required), just because some people don’t care about living in squalor?
If all they are doing is “loitering” to use the internet, then they aren’t doing anything wrong. It sounds like the problem is simply the number of people and the neighbors didn’t approve. In that case, the truly win/win option is to provide greater access points to free wifi so people don’t have to congregate in one small area. This outcome only hurts people.
I’ve been to places that had free municipal wifi, mostly at libraries and bus stops. It seems like a small service that is generally helpful to people without access to their own wifi. I think the better solution is to have more places with free wifi at night so people don’t have to congregate in the one small area.
There aren’t many places the unhoused are allowed to exist in public and cutting them off from essential services only makes it harder for them to better their situation.
