  • It’s a programming joke. If you declare variables or set a value to a space in the storage, this space is blocked even after the programme is done using that variable. So to write a programme with efficient use of storage, you have to free the storage space after you are using it.

Many programming languages use a routine called “garbage collector” to free unused storage space.

So, if you don’t want to be a garbage collector, you have to assign storage space manually.

  • I’d love to know which cars you drive with 5-6 l/100km

Could be an inquiry, could be a statement of disbelief. Up to interpretation.

I’d love to know which cars you drive with 5-6 l/100km lol

The “lol” at the end makes it read like your accusing the other commenter of lying and that you think this is an impossible to reach fuel consumption.

Additionally, many people don’t like huge pickup trucks and worshippers thereof. You might have slipped into that category in their understanding.

  • If you leave bread fully enclosed in plastic, all the moisture from the crumb moves into the crust and makes it soggy. But it doesn’t dry out.

If you leave it just open, it dries out.

That’s why (real) bread is best stored in a paper bag or in an unglazed ceramic bread bin. Those two materials allow for a slow exchange of air, therefore keeping the crust crunchy and the crumb soft.
