Funny how we laughed at Trump holding a glass with two hands.
And that dedicated sound cable for DVD CD drive to your soundblaster
It’s crazy how morphed your image of your own child is because there are cute babies, and I thought my first born was one of them. But with a bit distance I can say for sure: he wasn’t. He’s very handsome now though :)
Why is everybody so obsessed with tweaking and customizing an OS?! My systems are pretty much vanilla and apart from the file browser I hardly use any active OS features.
My printer worked out of the box under Windows no driver or anything needed. Maybe I got lucky.
I think for many people, me included the OS is more or less invisible bc I use so few OS elements. File browser and that’s it. Hardly any other gui feature comes to mind that isn’t a third party program.
For me it’s simply laziness, and the fact that I don’t use the OS apart from explorer. I think that’s the thing for a lot of people the actively use so few parts of the OS that the question wether the OS is intrusive, bloatware free or efficient isn’t part of their concern. They, me included, don’t tinker, don’t optimize, don’t script etc. I just start the programs thati use. I probably will give Linux another go with my next PC build though.
Sidequest and open worlds are the reason I often don’t finish games and I actually hate that. it’s hard enough for me to get immersed in the stories but the free roaming makes me lose interest pretty fast.
You can guarantee that she won’t be born
Too late, your shift in the sweatshop starts in 5 minutes, of to work.
Because a lot of them think they are somehow superior to others because they know who their ancestors were for the last 30 generations.
I’d rather have more play roads as they are called here in Germany, in all the areas people live and the roads are tight, with a walking speed limit.
That’s why it’s so abhorrent that voices from the right but not only from the right get louder, that demand an end to the relatively good remembrance culture here in Germany. I hate the: “it was so long ago, it wasn’t us” talking points. It’s the first step towards forgetting, historic revisionism and possibly repeating the things that were done.
To me these looks are cringe bc they look like the adults when I was a kid /teen (80s,90s) used to look.
My son was lurking over my shoulder an asked me what that was. I told him just a stick. His response: cool stick 🤣
I’m in my mid 40s and when I was that age let’s say in the mid 90s there were hardly any digital cameras and the image doesn’t look like a scan… So it’s day here is in his mid thirties. Know your memes says the picture is from 2009, so that roughly matches.
