I’m confused about the back and forth about shooters. An audience member said five for transgender shooters (the numerator), then asked Kirk how many mass shooters total (the denominator)?

So the audience member was trying to disagree with Kirk to suggest the transgender shooters are a small proportion?

And the Kirk comes back with the gang violence question to suggest what?

I’m genuinely confused here, no agenda, just literally don’t understand the transcript.

I have the problem that I give off a vibe as an onlooker. I’m not trying to be judgmental but I guess I ooze it.

Edit: Your case makes me chuckle. I used to love watching IT struggle because I got rid of default desktop and quick launch icons. Finally we have all learned to search.

I dunno man, I want my friends and family using Linux. I don’t think this is the right mentality.

People still converse over simple facts. What does the plant that grows cinnamon look like? Who won the Super Bowl in x year? Simple facts that could easily just be looked up, but people like talking to each other.

Even reading off a Wikipedia page to someone else, you get an opportunity to cater the tone, pace, and omissions / additional clarity to whomever you’re talking to.

The drop in Stack Overflow questions shows that if people can’t get helpful answers from other humans, they will get them from AI.
