Curious what it the exact model of your laptop?
I use summit and jerboa as backup.
❤️ put xfce4 panel pls 🙏
Haha. Popos gnome doesn’t have this. You get a pop up and says 60s count down. Wish I knew what command that is. I usually have hotkey ‘poweroff’ and that ista kills everything and shuts down lol
Curious, how did u dnf install if it’s immutable? Through distrobox and then export ?
Omg. Ur the best. I will make the great venture and install Wayland and then all the other things and then your app. Thanks bud. 🙏👍
👍 look after yourself.
Thanks for reply. 🙏. I tried to look for answer on reddit and github, nope. Even used ai a few different ones. Couldn’t do it. Maybe your app will work 🤷 if your bored have a go and see if you can do it. I installed fedora gnome Wayland and I did notice their volume notification for increase decrease works on all monitors. But how they did it 🤷.
Looks good. Well done. 👏 Does your app do multi monitor notifications? That is the same notification on all monitors? Tried to do that the other day and nope couldn’t do it. Tried a few apps and gave up.
Thanks for info 👍
Hi Jorge, Thanks so much for reply. Love your energy on your project and YouTube videos. My printer is brother MFC-L2750DW. Sorry I’m “experienced” linux mint xfce user, and wanted to give fedora gnome a go for Wayland, selinux enforcing and zram for security privacy yada yada. When I came across your project, you and your team done such an awesome job. So I guess if I can get the printer up and working I’ll go back to bluefin. Thanks again for TLC. ❤️
There’s also secureblue 🤣
My quick play w them: fedora(company) atomic distros like silver blue(gnome) vanilla way. Ublue(some independent developers) making their own versions/spins of fedora, eg bluefin, aurora, bazzite. Focused on a better experience.
Secureblue(some independent developers), also making their own versions/spins of fedora but focused on privacy/security.
None of them could see my network printer so I went back to normal fedora.
Immutable distros way bigger learning curve.
😱 so I guess install via appimage?? Package manager? 🤷 🤯 brain malfunction. Im thinking don’t download or install until you verify the download with a hash and hopefully signature if they exist 🤷 use fedora? Which has better security? 🤷🤯
Thank you for all your hard work and explanation 🙏👍
Why is the flatpak not verified on flathub? Hmm
This is so based.
