From my experience all the time (probably even more) it saves me is wasted on spotting bugs and the bugs are in very subtle places.
This is what it is called a programming language, it only exists to be able to tell the machine what to do in an unambiguous (in contrast to natural language) way.
Some context: https://youtu.be/3VEkzweBJPM
For writing an application GPL is fine if you don’t want anyone to profit from your work and if they make changes, contribute back.
Things are a little bit more complex if you are writing a library or code that is meant to be included in another application.
If you use GPL you might get rejected even by other open source applications, as GPL might be understandable as it will change license off the application or be outright incompatible.
This was the case with cursor library after author changed license everyone stopped using it: https://github.com/GijsTimmers/cursor/commit/885156333ac9ca335a587b1dd08964074313f026
The most ironic thing is that he created package from stack overflow answer:
https://github.com/GijsTimmers/cursor/blob/master/cursor/cursor.py
The original author never said they are releasing copyright or are making it public domain.
It’s not.
The red line was placed by US itself as a response to Russia threatening using nuclear weapons if Ukraine gets any help.
Russia of course didn’t, but adopted that red line itself and used it on its propaganda.
As they started offensive on Kharkiv, and started bombing Ukraine from behind the border so Ukraine wouldn’t be able to respond, they essentially forced change of that red line.
US allowed to use of its weapons in that area.
Now the problem for Russia is:
This means Russia (including maga politicians) once it stops with this sabre rattling, won’t really have much way to use propaganda about future changes.
The agreement being secret will also allow to be modified without much headlines. We will only learn after the fact. For example Russia reporting they saw fragments of US weapons in different areas. Most won’t care anymore.
Oh, don’t worry, there will be full permission. In a few weeks, and it will be without headlines.
Sure, but my point is that if it is implemented right, you won’t even know you’re using IPv6 until you check network configuration.
The initial plan of US was to weaken Russia and make putin withdraw on its own.
With recent delivery of long distance munition, changing policy on hitting into Russia and imposing sanctions on banks it is clear that the policy changed to let Ukraine defeat Russia even if it would result in a collapse of RF.
If IPv6 is done right you don’t even know you have it. If you use a cell phone or a home Internet, there is a high chance you are already using IPv6.
So two gays could just come in and say they are friends and get two free beers?
But straight women couldn’t get it for free
I guess it’s more: “we only want men”
We saw other similar news from China which turned out to be a bunk. I wouldn’t hold my breath. I would love to be wrong though.
Apologies, I misinterpreted the word “party” I thought it was a party in the conflict like Israel vs Gazans. And that Israel supporters don’t see it as controversial.
Unlike Hollywood movies, things aren’t always black and white. It is quite possible that both sides are. Neither the Hamas nor Nethanyahu government are the good guys. Both sides try to exterminate the other side. Both sides also don’t mind killing innocent people in their way.
It is a fucked up situation, and with recent developments it looks like it is turning into Israel’s Afghanistan. Biden was right warning Nethanyahu to not make the same mistake at US did after 9/11.
Yeah, even if you support Israel, this is really in bad taste.
Also to add that Raisin was groomed to take his place, and apparently the guy Raisi was grooming to take his was also in the helicopter.
Khamenei is 85 years old.
This is true. Russia saber rattling about using nuclear weapons, doesn’t mean much. Putin knows this would not lead to victory and likely would end up with him losing power and likely life.
The scary time is what he will do when he will see his power slipping. Thankfully in 1992 Gorbachev managed to handle it peacefully. Hopefully when it happens it will end up similarly.
upvote for a programmer joke :)
And the best thing, is that one doesn’t even have to mention “cybertruck”.
BTW: I just had someone say when I showed them this picture: “no, this is not cybertruck, is it?”
When you talk to Slovakians they say that his death would be one of the best things to happen to the pro putin movement, as this would make him a martyr.
I personally wonder how it will be as it looks like he survived and these news paint an interesting picture.
