I use poetry and it works really well. I would consider it solved but that doesn’t mean there isn’t the possibility of a better solution.

When I am excited about something I think about it almost constantly. I know there are a lot of other people in the same boat.

The flexing aspect is kinda dumb. I do think working a lot is ok if you are enjoying yourself and not neglecting other aspects of your life.

Totally agree about the kids thing. Being a parent should always take precedence over working(besides working extra to fund the basic needs of the household). Good point :)

I’m saying it just works, I didn’t say anything about why that is the case.

It just works. I don’t want to have to invest time in making my os work. I want to spend my time on my projects(which I use wsl for)

I totally understand the desire and satisfaction of having complete control over your os but a lot of people just want to be able to do simple stuff like game and browse the web which windows does just fine in my experience.

Disaster??? It helped emergency response time, our ability to reach out loved ones across the planet, maintain relationships with people from other points in our lives. I’m sure there are a million more positive phone related things I could list.
