You can’t put Linux on an Xbox One Series X. The security system prevents running unsigned code and the bootloader will only boot the Xbox operating system. There has never been an exploit found for the Xbox One Series X or S for unlocking the bootloader.

Corporations exist to make investors money. That is the sole reason. Everything they do must be with the goal of making money for the investors.
I do sometimes, but generally I can mute myself and be fine. It’s a mild annoyance. But the main point is that Teams appears to make no attempt at noise cancellation. What if there was loud vehicles or sirens? Barking dog? Kids screaming, people talking in public? I guess everyone just hears everything in Teams. Seems like a really basic feature that’s missing.
I have my mic right beside my mechanical keyboard. Nobody hears a thing if I type during a meeting in Zoom and Slack. In Teams, if I type as light and quietly as possible, people complain immediately. That is my experience with Teams.

You can also download and double click executables that have no dependencies (like Pocketbase). The installation process handles resolving dependencies.
The GNOME one that comes with Debian is useless. There’s like 3 things on it and of course they’re all out of date (Debian thing). It also doesn’t work to uninstall applications. The Ubuntu one of course pushes snaps so it’s no good. The Mint one likewise pushes flatpaks. In general across all of them there never seems to be much listed on them, so going there to browse isn’t useful. I can’t think of any other specific issues but just in general over the past 8 years they are always buggy and annoying to use.
I haven’t used KDE’s store before.

The built in “app stores” that come on Linux distros are also complete jokes, the ones I’ve tried to use anyways.

I remember when, I think it was either a log4j or CUPS malware attack, Debian remained unaffected because the packages in its repos was too old.
Ah, dang. Yeah I worded mine to mean the Series X because I thought they were talking about that. I forgot about the non Series X.
On that exploit, yeah I think it’s just the first Xbox One. And given it’s soldering and applying voltages right to the chip, and it’s nowhere near developed to booting a different OS, it might as well be non-existent at this point
