It really is oppression to get responded to.
You’re actually just wrong lol. Cuba has a larger HDI than most countries in the region. And that’s while being economically strangled by the United States.
And what’s this authoritarianism you’re talking about with Cuba? It’s a democracy. And it’s got better rights for minorities than the United States.
Hey, that one was decent actually! Good job!
As a Hexbear poster, I have abandoned my morality and kneel at the altar of the Russo-Sino Satanist.
I will admit that I am having fun posting.
I bet the people who had their families killed by American death squads probably hate the country more.
You can’t just swap words out and assume the framework is the same. It literally makes no sense. Changing one word can, and does, have a huge effect on overall meaning of a sentence.
Land reform is authoritarianism! You can’t just take other people’s property. That’s against the rules!
Think of the landlords.
Cuba is a beacon of progress and humanity in the Americas. Fidel Castro was a hero. Also a pro at dodging the CIA’s kill squads.
Damn, you are so fucking smart.
Better than the US that’s for sure.
Why is Cuba a failure in your eyes? It seems to be doing better than other countries in the region. It has a higher life expectancy than the US even, and standards of living have risen dramatically since the revolution.
This is so fucking stupid. How do you say something like that and believe it makes sense?
The United States actually did bomb Cuba, believe it or not. It wasn’t carpet bombing, but at times they totally did drop bombs on Cuban sugar farms. Not to mention the stated back terrorism we inflicted on the Island, which bombed them in a different way.
Cuba has a higher life expectancy than the US, by three years. And they accomplished that while being econmically strangled.
What really failed I wonder?
Hopefully the United States doesn’t continue to escalate tensions in regards to the island.
Does it strike you as strange that the economic system built around rewarding people for greed and wealth accumulation, Capitalism, would somehow encourage less corruption? Surely they’d be the type more susceptible to it?

What’s funny is that physicists approximate and round way more than engineers do.
