Linux security to me has always been, don’t download random packages you don’t trust.

I’m honestly suprised the amount of effort and awesome stiff went into this. Like its functional and usable. I can’t say all hardware gets the same treatment.
I feel like the US will try to ban it and do a war on drugs approach toward it. Its scary but they have already been signinaling they think people don’t need it and shouldn’t have it and the usual “lazy” line
My main issue with Debian is LTS support, I usually run like Ubtunu LTS and I don’t upgrade until it isn’t supported. The stability of LTS is great.
Ubuntu in general has been disappointing I still use it for servers though I’m considering moving to something based on RHEL.
I don’t really see the problem with this is, let’s be honest if you daily drive Linux you likely enjoy opensource software. You likely want other open source apps too and knowing is good. Yes I do run some proptarity apps like Steam and Discord but its neat to have other apps apps open source where I can.

What ever happened to the source code nvidia did release. Was it released in such a way to where it is not helpful?
I mean the apis are totally different on MacOS, like MacOS is not Linux by any means
