30·1 day agoKamala Harris lost every swing state AND the Senate. We live in the same country we did 4 years ago, we live in the same country that elected Barrack Obama twice.
People are paying 50% more for bread, eggs, and rent, with no relief given, no corporate greed stiffled BEFORE it hit average Americans in the face, and just kept hitting them. The average American doesn’t care about economic numbers, they care about whether or not they can pay the rent.
Trump isn’t going to make any of this better, he’s going to make it ordinates worse. People vote for change, when faced with the inevitability of suffering they’ll vote for different, come what may.

I mean, ok, what do they want us to do with that information today. The world is going to end tomorrow. This could have been usefull news to have broken, say, last month when it could have swung the needle from putin dicksucker trump. Today it’s mania inducing, and that’s never smart in a country with 350 million firearms in civilian circulation.
When you look the other way while Gaza hosts Hamas, and Lebanon hosts Hezbollah, and Syria hosts Iranian weapons shipments, when they all attack Israel with Iranian funded rockets and incursions, the fucking around part, and only pipe up when Israel responds in the attempt to defend itself and wipe out it’s enemies, because it’s enemies are embedded in civilian populations for the sole reason of ginning up your support when Israel is forced to respond, the finding out part, then you’re a supporter of Terrorism.
If the fucking around part doesn’t get you to speak up, but only the finding out part does, bad news, you’re an antisemite.

When you “block” someone on Reddit, they can see and reply to your posts and comments, they can search your comment history, which could lead to identification and doxxing. It’s fucking bullshit. When you block someone they should cease to exist, cease to be able to see, or vote, comment or reply to your content, at all. Mastodon does this perfectly. Lemmy and Mbin do not. It’s abusive and it’s fucked.
I don’t understand Pop Tarts, I’ve tried them, and they just seem like badly made pastries, in the event of an apocalypse I can understand eating them, and twinkies, but aside from that, I’m baffled at how they are so popular and enduring
