I take offense they are called “alcohol FREE”. That’s just false advertisement, whatever is in the fineprint.

Read the comments in this post. They are worded like “yeah, I like to have a beer sometimes, but without alcohol, so I chose an “alkoholfrei” beer”. When they, in fact, are drinking an alcoholic brewage, still.

“alcohol free” is not free of alcohol but can contain up to 0.5% alcohol.

This could be fatal for people having had an alcohol addition because that sets them right back into the circle of drug abuse.

Personally I have only a hand full of t-shirts, all made of good 100 percent wool. I rotate them in use and I get maybe two weeks of time each before I have to wash them again because wool is not getting stenchy very fast, is anti bacterial and has a good climate while wearing, be it cold or hot weather. They get washed inside out and with pretty cold water, which is good for the fabric, and dry on air, because that’s energy efficient and also good for the fabric. I have them for like two years now and they look brand new, no pilling, no tears, no nothing. The wool flows and gleams like at the first day. Just. Do. Not. Buy. Trash.

Once in a while I check the installed packages for a possible dependency on GTK and when I find a program which has one, I look for an alternative to have one dependency less.

The last time I replaced simple-scan with skanlite and it is a much much better scanning program and with a more pleasant ui on top.

I’m happy to say “i use arch btw” (actually CachyOS but without most of the weird cachyos-stuff but still using their v3 repositories) for about two weeks now. It’s pretty great so far, no breakages or anything, feels very responsive and updates are much quicker to do, too, because pacman works really fast.

Debian sid user here. If it appears now or in two weeks in the repo does not change anything for me as I don’t depend on the changes for my workflows. For Debian Stable I actually demand them to come much later, in a mostly bugfree version. What’s the rush when it probably needs more field-testing?
