One of the latest developments is an open-source Nvidia driver developer being hired by Nvidia and continuing their work on it, so it’s technically not fully true anymore. They’ll definitely stay behind for a while longer but it seems to finally be looking good for once.
Progress in that regard is actually pretty rampant lately, I can imagine by the time Windows 10 is EOL it will be no different from AMD.
DRM-free Windows games, but mostly older titles since the performance overhead is pretty large. Something like Fallout 3 or Oblivion will run at playable frame rates.
Wine through Box64 is something you can already do on top of Android, either directly through Termux or something like Winlator. Lots of incompatibilities though… even installing Steam is only barely possible through hacks.

The changes to linux audio lately are a bit of a mess. Wireplumber completely changed their config format with 5.0 and it just stopped launching if you had v4 configs.
I do appreciate that we’re not stuck with pulseaudio anymore though so I really shouldn’t complain.

Too confusing, why can I create them with one command but not restore them in the same way? Last time I was gonna use them to fix an issue I spent an hour trying to figure out how to restore it and then just ended up fixing the issue manually in much less time.
Just in awe at what a relic of a screenshot this is. Based on the UI this has to be 8 years old but there are no compression artifacts whatsoever.
