Well, the UK government declared a pro Palestinian protest group a terrorist organization.

Like a Canadian, I’ll give it a shot.
So basically, theres a whole party of insane people who make the Alberta Separatists seem reasonable that have a preceved chance of becoming the next party in power.
Starmer is in deep because he isn’t popular with the opposition for obvious reasons, and he lost support among his base because he hasn’t really stood up to the pro Israel crowd.
The whole Peter Mandelson, UK ambassador to the US who also was a big friend of Epstein, being appointed without proper vetting, is just a Cherry on top.
Does this make enough sense ?

Well certainly not the Cerritos officers’ replicators…

Cool. I haven’t watched beyond the pilot yet, but I’m always excited for a season 2 of trek.
In 5e yes. I think the theory is once you hit terminal velocity, you aren’t going to get any more damage from a longer fall.
Fun fact, I actually did have a villain do exactly that in a campaign once. The party achieved a secondary win condition during combat and so the BBEG jumped off the top of the space elevator to escape.
I want to play a game where there is an NPC roving band of guerrilla peasants that in times of crisis form a rail gun militia. Dragons? Rail gun. Tax Administrator? Rail gun. Cathy’s Baby Shower? Also believe it or not, rail gun.

If it makes you feel any better, because of the shutdown, we aren’t spending money on this. \s

No but I always end up in super-debt

TBF, I do really hate my printer.

I don’t care what Internet people think of me. I wrote nothing untoward and have been respectful in this conversation. No where have I said I don’t like her, I only said she’s a bad character fitting the Mary Sue archetype in my opinion and I have reasonable hope that SFA will be better than Disco. I can live with what I wrote. If you draw the conclusion that I am sexist, then that’s your opinion.
If you do not want to see my opinions, feel free to block me and forget I exist. This is not worth your time or mine.

Saru is awesome, and Doug Jones is a genius actor. I think he has the most character growth in the show.
My point is Micheal isn’t a good character in my opinion and I’m hopeful the writers won’t have another character like her in Academy. If you disagree that’s cool, reasonable minds can differ.
I want Trek to both be good TV and a good representation of Roddenberry’s vision of the future. I’m glad I watched Disco, it brought new life into the fandom.
LLAP

I thought I was being clear and referring to Micheal, who always somehow seems to know the solution to every problem, outside of her stated specialty of xeno-anthropology.
I know Disco was trying to be different from the other shows where there was focus on one character and not the main crew ensemble. I think that was a mistake and it looks like SFA is doing better about being an ensemble cast.
Why were you think I was referring to Saru?

Klingons with hair dye? We don’t talk about that with outsiders…
It doesn’t seem quite like Disco with an over focus on just one Mary Sue, so I’m hopeful.
OP has a history of making Trek related committee and is in a build phase again.
Wait… Are you telling me this last panel’s conversation isn’t between Mariner and Boimler?

Well we aren’t going to cut off the young actor’s Finger to match OG Scotty. That’s just cruel.
The Moist books were all really good!
From what I recall when I read the KnowYourMeme page a few years ago, it’s not supposed to be funny. However the radical tone switch from his other comics to one about miscarriages was so vast that created resentment in the readership and the mocking memes followed.
It’s kind of similar to “Somehow Palatine returned…”
