tl;dr: it is what it is
tl;dr: it is what it is
I was so confused by the trailer. What exactly is this game lol
30 FPS and heavy motion blur put me off. Maybe it was just how it was recorded/presented in the stream I guess.
I wonder how games would look and run towards the end of this gen. We could get Unreal Engine 5 lumen+nanite+vsm running at 1440p upscaled to 4k at 30, 40, 60 and 120 FPS using various settings and frame gen. Currently games like Jedi Survivor (I know UE4) and Immortals of Avuem run at quite low resolutions to achieve 60, or games like Hellblade 2 run at a better resolution but at 30 FPS with 21:9 aspect ratio.
I think they might increase price of GamePass core and put 25 more games in it, especially old CoDs, remove normal GamePass, and increase the price of GamePass Ultimate and put CoD day one only on it.
Middle tier doesn’t make much sense anyway as it neither has online play nor has EA Play, which normal PC GamePass has btw, at an even cheaper rate.
I wonder how good does the Matrix awakens demo runs with 5.4
I wonder if shadows in unreal engine take different code paths on PS5. Or if the version is updated on PS5 vs PC/Xbox. Or maybe the settings for Xbox aren’t reworked in a while and there’s enough legroom to enhance it further.
Regardless it’s interesting to see Xbox games routinely being a bit better on PS5. Sony was afraid Xbox may downgrade the games during ABK trial but we actually see the opposite here lol.
GTA 4. Currently playing TBoGT. I somehow forgot how cool the DLCs were. I’m quite impressed by Luis and the side content added in the DLC. If you squint enough parts of TBoGT already feel a bit like GTA 5. Luis also mentions vice city so I wonder if we’ll see him in GTA 6.
It’s a great game with awesome Balinese music.
For console players
Yeah looks like

I think the engine would matter a bit less for TES/FO if they’re following the same map design. Starfield was just way too ambitious and poorly designed for the engine they had. Potato physics and object permanence is good but seamless streaming and no loading screens is much better for a space exploration game. For TES/FO, all that object permanence leads to good environmental story telling and useful loot around dungeons if done well, but at this point Todd knows how they are gonna screw it up this time.
I’ve played the first one and while I enjoy 60 fps, this game is okay at 30, being so slow and all about cinematics and echoes.
I think it’s more like they fix issues in the core and suddenly more games that relied on that code path become more playable. Ideally it would be nice to have a 100% complete emulator as an end user, as then you don’t have to think too much about what plays and what doesn’t.
GTA IV and NFS Unbound on Rog Ally.
I’ll be honest, I was too young to understand GTA IV’s lore back then, and I was mainly playing it for barely getting 20 FPS on my PC and the physics system of the game. But now when I actually listen to the dialogues and radio station, man it sounds like they saw what America would be like in 2020s a decade early. “We should reduce minimum wage and remove rights of citizens to fight against the illegal immigration crisis”. Damn.
Yeah you’re right. Still, companies gonna company, we should make people are friends instead.
Are you sure?
Licensing will do that for you. At least you’ll be able to still play it, unlike Crew.
