Why are you being condescending?
I don’t understand how it’s transphobia. When you’re trans you’re just changing from one gender to the other M->F or F->M, right? How does this conflict with thta notion?
The same reason as I’d care if someone said the earth is flat. I’d try to compare it to my knowledge gained in school, and be confused.
To what purpose? The apps have been saved already
I think the joke is twofold. First of all, Microsoft pretty much has a monopoly on financial software with their excel, which shows that the entire global finances are in the hands of that crab.
The second joke, must be that they never bother updating the suite to the latest, and solely depend on 2013🤷
There are communities for reddit related content. Is it possible for you to post there next time for those of us who’re trying to forget

Yup, this entire thread is confounding to me
That’s my thought at least. Donating to all actors involved would be best, but it’s easy to give the frontend developer all the love, because the work that’s being done behind is less tangible and harder to really see.
Honestly. This isn’t some centralized platform. Donating at least some of the profits to the people making the app possible seems fitting. While I don’t agree with the API pricing of Reddit, I think it’s fitting that it should cost something at least, if not only to cover wage for the people working on the API

That the entire ecosystem is dependent on donations. If this new social media thing is going to work out, we need to divide our donations to all actors involved: developers, instance admins, and thirdparty app developers. It’s easy to forget the people behind it
