Pronouns, what?
My homie in Cthulhu, I guarantee you that trans folks are among the most ready to stand up for a group of people who’ve had their basic humanity denied by a vicious regime eager for a scapegoat.

SantaBlack lmao
Is that why he’s impossible to see?
His last wish:
“I want one of my inventions to finally do something good for the world!”
choking noises
Not only invented them, but poisoned the hell outta himself trying to prove they were safe.
And then when he was too bedridden to do anything, he invented an automated bed to help him move around and strangled himself to death in the ropes.
Truly an inspiration.
https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Accessibility
Accessibility is the design of products, devices, services, vehicles, or environments so as to be usable by people with disabilities.
Assistive technology is the creation of a new device that assists a person in completing a task that would otherwise be impossible. Some examples include new computer software programs like screen readers, and inventions such as assistive listening devices, including hearing aids, and traffic lights with a standard color code that enables colorblind individuals to understand the correct signal.
Disabled people are likely to have had their attention piqued by Musk reiterating that, in the first instance, Neuralink would be looking to “solve important brain and spine problems.”
In fact, throughout the presentation, several chronic and life-limiting conditions were cited as being potentially treatable by Neuralink — ranging from blindness, spinal cord injuries, memory loss, brain damage and even depression.
The company’s first round of clinical trials will focus on patients with spinal cord injuries.

…Neuralink said, adding that its initial goal is to enable people to control a computer cursor or keyboard using their thoughts alone.
ETA:
I have no interest in defending the muskrat or his dystopian vision for this technology. I’m just a developer who gives half a shit about making accessible software, so I want people to know what that means.
I hadn’t really formed an opinion on this article specifically, but… If I had spinal damage? I might consider signing up for the monkey-killer chip too. A shot at getting my body back might be too enticing to resist.
I don’t think that word means what you think it means.
as megaprojects expert Bent Flyvbjerg explains in the following article, these grandiose projects operate by an iron law: over budget, over time, over and over again
Performance data for megaprojects speak their own language. Nine out of ten such projects have cost overruns. Overruns of up to 50 percent in real terms are common, over 50 percent not uncommon. Cost overrun for the Channel Tunnel, the longest underwater rail tunnel in Europe, connecting the UK and France, was 80 percent in real terms. For Boston’s Big Dig, 220 percent. The Sydney Opera House, 1,400 percent. Similarly, benefit shortfalls of up to 50 percent are also common, and above 50 percent not uncommon.
How does your ISP have anything to do with port forwarding, or wired vs. wifi?
There will never be anything more illustrative of the limits of human intellect than the fact that a master logician famously argued that:
I ought to do XYZ because there may be an omnipotent being that rewards doing XYZ
…and did not immediately think:
I ought not to do XYZ because there may be an omnipotent being that punishes doing XYZ
Gandhi on Zionism:
My sympathies are all with the Jews.
…
But my sympathy does not blind me to the requirements of justice.
…
Palestine belongs to the Arabs in the same sense that England belongs to the English or France to the French. It is wrong and inhuman to impose the Jews on the Arabs. What is going on in Palestine today cannot be justified by any moral code of conduct. The mandates have no sanction but that of the last war. Surely it would be a crime against humanity to reduce the proud Arabs so that Palestine can be restored to the Jews partly or wholly as their national home.
Edit: This was 1938, btw. 10 years before the Nakba.
I don’t think Biden has an ideological bone in his body. Supporting Israel is just good business. Simple as.
Someone’s been listening to Ken Ashcorp? https://youtu.be/kFZKgf5WG0g
Some things to consider:
From the original source:
The use of white phosphorus in Gaza, one of the most densely populated areas in the world, magnifies the risk to civilians and violates the international humanitarian law prohibition on putting civilians at unnecessary risk.
Upon contact, white phosphorus can burn people, thermally and chemically, down to the bone as it is highly soluble in fat and therefore in human flesh. White phosphorus fragments can exacerbate wounds even after treatment and can enter the bloodstream and cause multiple organ failure. Already dressed wounds can reignite when dressings are removed and the wounds are re-exposed to oxygen. Even relatively minor burns are often fatal. For survivors, extensive scarring tightens muscle tissue and creates physical disabilities. The trauma of the attack, the painful treatment that follows, and appearance-changing scars lead to psychological harm and social exclusion.
Attacks using air-delivered incendiary weapons in civilian areas are prohibited under Protocol III of the Convention on Conventional Weapons (CCW). While the protocol contains weaker restrictions for ground-launched incendiary weapons, all types of incendiary weapons produce horrific injuries. Protocol III applies only to weapons that are “primarily designed” to set fires or cause burns, and thus some countries believe it excludes certain multipurpose munitions with incendiary effects, notably those containing white phosphorus.
Human Rights Watch and many states have long called for closing these loopholes in Protocol III. Palestine joined Protocol III on January 5, 2015, and Lebanon on April 5, 2017, while Israel has not ratified it.
And for some context on exactly how fatal this might be in a place like Gaza…
We’re talking about place where urban areas are 4x as dense as Los Angeles. Where people are not in the most steady health to begin with, given that 90-95% of the water supply is unsuitable for consumption, over 75% are food-insecure, 50% suffering malnutrition, the median age is 18, and there is no electricity or fuel to power the hospitals and ambulances – not that it matters anyway, because even humanitarian aid facilities are being targeted by air strikes.
You could easily die from a small cut in Gaza. Anyone in the AoE here is totally fucked.
No joke, there are billionaires scouring the futurist community looking for a reassuring answer to that question.
Douglas Rushkoff wrote a whole book about it.

And Starship Troopers got people really excited about space fascism.

It appears you’re having a problem with HUMOR.EXE.
You seem to have enabled LIP (Laughter Integrity Protection) Service.
You should know that LIP Service does not apply to built-in protocols such as TAB/00, and will cause compatibility issues in certain deployment environments such as EARTH.ENV.
To solve your particular issue, you’ll want to navigate to the /ASS directory, right-click on HEAD.ZIP and select “Extract”.
