This reminds me of having a palm pilot as a teenager. It played mp3s, and had pdfs, but otherwise you could only take notes and fiddle with settings. I read all of the origonal halo books off of it.

We don’t need to forget how great Hong Kong was up until a few years ago.
On D day the USS Texas couldn’t physically elevate the guns any higher in their mounts to lob the shells at German positions as they retreated further from the ocean. So they intentionally took on water on one side of the ship, elevating the other side, and enabling the guns to shoot further.

The thought of having your digital foot print live on forever was kind of neat, but most of it wasn’t worth remembering or will probably get deleted after a few decades anyways. Future generations will ever know about the witty banter on yahoo answers.
Disc drive consoles are great for people who go months with terrible or no internet. People in the military, or just about anyone who goes out to sea can get a disc mailed to them. It is nice to have physical media to play the games off of.
I am pretty excited to slowly repost all my old content here over the course of several months to reap all those fake internet points again. It isn’t reposting if it is a new website.
