It’s a balance, but too many people don’t even flag it to management because they’re lazy and they write shit and ship it to get it off their own plate.
Now, if management says ship it anyway it’s a balance of you as a developer making sure they understand they’re throwing this technical debt on the credit card and it may (probably) need to be paid off later. If you fail to articulate the interest that’ll be due later then you didn’t do enough or management is bad.
You shouldt work unpaid to fix it, but sometimes you should just do it right even if it takes longer because it’s how it should be done.
I have done it as my main job and I echo your sentiment. It’s inevitable that sometimes you have to meet a deadline or get something more important working first, but if you write bad code because you are lazy or unwilling to read the docs to do it right, shame shame shame.
Great movie. In this case, at end of this one you can have assets and apparently also tell your friends what you’re up to.
I’m sure there are projects covering those areas written in JavaScript.
Not quite. Most literally couldn’t survive without a car, due to the infrastructure of the city/town they live in. They are a necessity for the vast majority of folks.
We need caldev through the bridge app for use in thunderbird and other apps.
I think this is a fairly common use case. Maybe not the most common, but I’ve definitely seen this at multiple shops.
Density of RAM on hosts is often a limiting factor for scaling. Not every app is CPU hungry. Some just need to be available, and running a whole is for isolation is the way it’s done in a lot of shops.
Seeing this all the time in Chicago too. It’s really frustrating. Coupled with the same vehicle height and regular light brightness inflation that’s been occurring it’s really bad.
That sounds awful. Imaging going back and forth requesting changes until it gets it right. It’d be like chatting with openai only it’s trying to merge that crap into your repo.
It’s pretty bad on PC as well, with more and more games requiring kernel level anticheat software. I wish I had something positive to say. Just lots of bad news coming out in gaming it seems.
Yes, and host it on Proton. They are pretty reasonably priced compared to paid offerings by Microsoft and Google, and even if you pay them you are still the product. With proton you are the customer.
Gotta build that brown fat.
Win-win.
I see what you did there.
I appreciate the good faith you’re putting into this. I tend to lean your way, but it’s interesting to see this discussion play out. Thanks for being respectful. I appreciate it, even though (up to this comment) I’m just observing the thread.
I agree on WEI, and that’s the scary part since crappy companies will demand it in the name of security and everyone gets fucked and the Internet becomes a little less free.
Is that Cas’ car from the mid seasons or something else entirely ?
Is that split screen on a PC for local coop? How does that work exactly? two keyboards and two mice? Or what?
I believe that there is an extension for Firefox pwa support, but the Android version definitely supports pwas natively.
The OP discusses exactly a solution to the anyone setting up an instance to capture the data, because the users home instance federates their votes anonymously.
There maybe flaws in it, not that’s exactly what it aims to solve.
