Should I also get the Below Zero bundle?
Should I also get the Below Zero bundle?
It’s pretty fun so far, and rage inducing lol. You can see the inspirations drawn from Hollow Knight, Ori and such. Though, I find it way harder and unforgiving than Hollow Knight. The game really wants you to parry every single enemy attack, and will punish you quite hard you if you fail to do so. Just holding the block button does not work, it will block one attack but not the next. You need to press block (or ideally parry with the right timing) on every attack to avoid getting stun locked, which means fighting multiple enemies could be quite challenging, and enemies with quick attack combos are guaranteed to be a pain in the ass.
In Taiwan we just call it 總統府, which translates to “the presidential office”. It’s true that it is a Japanese-colonial-era building, but I only ever heard it referenced in historical context, like in a tour or a textbook.
Fun fact: there are also some Spanish and Dutch buildings remaining in Taiwan. They were the first official colonizers before the Ming-dynasty took over.
Rather Chinese nationalism is still very much alive and well in Taiwan
Only a small minority identify themselves as “Chinese not Taiwanese” nowadays. According to the latest public surveys (News article, Survey source, has English in the graphs), only 2.4% think that way (declining), 61% identify as Taiwanese (rising), and 32% as both (declining). And then you compare it to the unify-indipendence survey and see that a combined 60% still prefer the status quo, with independence behind at 25%, and unify at 10%. KMT may still have a large voter base in TW, but Chinese nationalism isn’t the only reason people vote for them. You would want to look at 中華統一促進黨 for true Chinese nationalism and PRC sympathisers.
China is deseparately trying to flip off every neighboring country, aren’t they?
In this case, does it matter when it is GPU/VRAM limited?
I don’t play Hitman in short bursts, but I think you certainly could. The sandbox is there for you to figure out and mess around in. As long as you get your target killed and get out, it doesn’t matter if you did it quick, slow, in a clown suit, or just happen to kill every other non-target NPC in the map either.
If you think you’re getting lost or don’t know what to do, it’s okay to follow another lead. Sometimes the solution will come back to you. The signal scope is your friend when finding a new lead, and the ship log is your best friend for tracking it and figuring out what to do next.
I hope you enjoy it, it’s a game you can only experience once.
Me with raspberry pis. Also complain when digital notice boards don’t use low power systems like the pi and use windows PCs instead when all they do is show picture slideshows.
From the top comment under the article, a former dev at Adult Swim games reached out to WB to request their game to be transferred to them, and WB declined their request.
I’m just baffled. First, those games are finished, not in development. What is the cost of leaving a game up for sale in a digital store that has no need for inventory management? Second, what is the reason for not agreeing to transfer the ownership to its original creators, and rather let it die?
This, and the recent announcement of the closure of RoosterTeeth, what other idiotic decisions are they going to make to screw over their fans?
Edit: Jesus, they pulled Westworld off HBO max as well? For tax breaks?
Foreign interference Anyone who opposes us
Even if it would get thrown out, they would still have to allocate resources to fight back, which is time and money they would rather spend on something else. I understand why they just don’t want to have to deal with a potential lawsuit that may or may not come.
That wasn’t released on Nintendo hardware using Nintendo proprietary development tools.
I just don’t see a way that will end well for both sides when one side is exploiting the hatred towards another, while the other side is not keen on enabling such an extremist group.
It’s not his last video. He’ll still go on until March.
Quick thinking would easily conclude that admitting lost would also break the status quo. A treaty would have to be signed, and since the PRC would never give up trying to gain new territory, what good will it do to Taiwanese people who have no desire to join the PRC?
Petty is when your girlfriend keeps your favorite shirt after the breakup.
And get your facts straight. ROC came before PRC. PRC never ruled over Taiwan once. The “girlfriend” in your story here is PRC, not Taiwan.
Hey, how about you tell PRC to fuck off and not threaten war? You realize it’s been 75 years. That’s 2+ generations already, Taiwanese people no longer identify themselves as Chinese, and the ruling party now is not the same dictatorship that wants to reunite with China. No one wants war, but Taiwan does not want another dictatorship either.
Not totally true. There’s a reason why TSMC chips have better yields and efficiency than Samsung chips, even though they are on the same nodes and also use ASML machines. AFAIK, you still need to develop a know-how to build good chips, and ASML’s tools enable that, true, but they don’t know the rest of the process to make that happen. Neither does Apple nor other chip designers, and that’s worth value.
It’s a very valuable spot geographically in the island chain too. With Taiwan under their control, they basically oversee all cargo ships coming through the South China Sea to East Asian countries like Japan and Korea, not to mention the additional economic area and military potential.
