Nothing says freedom like forced conformity and rigid adherence to authoritarian power structures!

Make mac and cheese with your leftover hot dog water if the desert you’re in only has macaroni and hot dogs instead of eggs and potatoes.
I just started playing ghost of tsushima on my steam deck and it’s fucking gorgeous even on low settings, so I assume that would be pretty beautiful maxed out too.
No. My girlfriend and I are 140 hours in and still not finished, and I’m amazed at how smooth the coop works with the story. You can each be different places doing different things, or you can travel together, you can each have your own relationships with npcs. A lot of conversations with npcs will repeat depending on who’s talking, but important story ones won’t. As long as you mostly stick together and make choices together, you’ll have every option a single player game does.
Also made me think of progesterone.
Your anger about the people that are upset by this is way more irrational than the anger of those people. Like it literally doesn’t affect you at all if people stop playing the game.
Chips challenge had a windows 95 version and it looked almost identical to the rodent game you said you remembered.
You and Jerry Seinfeld. Really being persecuted by the woke mob.
This is why I clarify EVERYTHING. I’m sure it gets annoying to people some times but my Brain sees every possible ambiguity usually and I need to make sure even if I’m 99% sure that it’s one way over the other.
It’s that fucking readyplayerone movie. They all saw that and thought “what if everyone was obsessed with a virtual world, and there was only one virtual world that was basically a monopoly, and what if we controlled it all” without realizing how dumb that is and that competing, and likely better software will definitely end up being created organically by people who care about the end result more than they do about money.
Lmao I’ve read all these threads and you’re the one moving the goalposts and doing the most “Well akshaully” stuff in here.
Lmao is this in response to the guy who gets infuriated by people saying ‘I hope you’re doing well’ in emails?
Is this your band or something? Because I just listened to a bunch of songs and while it’s… fine? Lo fi garage rock, it is really nothing similar or on the same level as king gizzard? Just an all around strange recommendation.
You said nothing is really free.
I thought this was about being legit colorblind for a minute.
I just saw another thread where someone said they use sodium formate because it doesn’t fuck up their cars or concrete and is safer for their dogs. I haven’t looked deeply into it though.
The only reason I think I get it is because I just saw a post above this about a senate staffer being caught filming a gay porn video in the senate chamber. I assume buss is supposed to mean ‘bussy’. Seems like a stretch though
Right so in that scenario that measurment makes sense but for the average person in their day to day life it’s much less useful. And my car doesn’t have a fancy computer that tells me the efficiency. Or measure in accurate increments how much fuel is in the tank. So if I wanted to know how efficient my engine is, the best way to do it would be start on empty, add a liter of fuel, and see how far I could drive it, which is probably why and how that measurement became commonplace. Because cars have been around alot longer than computers.
I’m not even American but this is way less intuitive for everyday use. I don’t need some abstract measure of how efficient my car is being. My fuel tank is measured in liters, when I fill up i pay by the liter, I want to know how far I can go on x liters. Not have to do a bunch of mental math to reverse the equation for my gas tank with 40 liters in it. I have 40l, I can go x*40 km. Mental multiplication is way easier than mental division.
I hate that games started designing around microtransactions. Like who thought “hey let’s take the worst parts of MMOs and put them into single player”. I loved AC origins and was so looking forward to odyssey and then I just bounced off it within a few hours because so much of it just felt like doing chores.
