It’s going to be absolute hell because homes in these countries are designed to retain heat, have no air conditioning, and typically are built with large windows to let as much light in as possible.

The thing that’s worth thinking about is that most of the Russian people can’t really resist Putin because the military are all on his side and put down protests.
But if the military would have switched sides they’d be far less inclined to put down protests against Putin. Theoretically this could lead to a full on Rebellion.
My understanding is that in Russia military service is compulsory, but at the same time no one’s actually expected to do any fighting as they’re not really trained, they basically just used in noncombative roles.
Good old Pooters has changed the game when he sent conscripts of to die. So I wouldn’t expect a great deal of loyalty from that camp.

Russian “military”: Yea, okay.
It’s wrong anyway because the temperatures are high for the current time of year. Even the winter temps.
So with the northern hemisphere that means that they are higher than they’ve ever been before in the Southern hemisphere it just means they’re higher the winter then they’ve ever been before but they’re still high.
So it’s a confusing and non relevant distinction.
