If you use CJK input methods, I would suggest Fedora which it has the simplest way to add a input

The same. I currently still uses my Galago Pro(galp5), but right now I have to plug the power at all times and also switched distro to Fedora which surprisingly supports this laptop better than their own Pop!_OS

Personally, I think WSL is a great start point to introduce users in Windows to take the first step to Linux. Me myself and several people from what I know starts from WSL and end up using Linux full-time
