  • An LLM = machine learning. The language part is largely irrelevant. It finds patterns in 1’s and 0’s, and produces results based on statistical probability. This can be applied to literally anything that can be represented in 1’s and 0’s (e.g. everything in the known universe).

Do you not understand how that could be used to target “terrorists”, or how it could be utilized by a killbot? They can fine tune what metadata = “terrorist”, but (most importantly) false positives are a guaranteed mathematical certainty of statistical models, meaning innocent people are guaranteed to be classified as “terrorist”. Then there’s the more pressing concern of who gets to define what a “terrorist” is.

That’s every “non-stick” pan after 1-2 months of daily use.

All non-stick, “scratch resistant” pans are a marketing gimmick designed to have the average consumer-moron buy 30 pans in their lifetime, than simply learn how to season pans properly and hand 2 or 3 Iron/steel pans down their family lineage for generations, across hundreds of years.

  • Who do you think will control the kill bots? It’ll be the ultra wealthy who lead the remaining governments and corporations. Populations have historically revolted under severe economic stress, even when unemployment reaches 30-50%, and capitalism requires people receiving money in exchange for labor, so they can pay for goods and services; at a certain level of automation/unemployment that cyclical system shuts down. Robots don’t get paid, and they don’t buy goods or services.

When that happens the ultra wealthy will no longer have any need for the unemployed majority. They will have a means to suppress them (kill bots, wealth, political power), and numerous ecological/environmental reasons to cull the population down to a more manageable, sustainable size.
