  • I’m not a saying I have none, but, I definitely don’t have the issues I used to. I’ve been able to install a couple distros more recently with basically no problems. I’m also installing on laptops so that could be a difference, standard hardware configs. Also the equipment I install on is older equipment because I’m poor so I’m sure that is probably working in my favor.

  • I don’t know if the teacher is available for everybody but you can block this account. I’m going to do that right now so I don’t have to see this anymore. This alone makes me hate ground news calling the guardian mixed on factual reporting. Unless somebody knows something I don’t. besides just being a left leaning news source.

Edit: I haven’t been informed it’s not ground news questioning the factuality and downloading is actually a better tactic because it lets them know it’s unwanted.

You can disable it in the registry. H key local machine, software, policy, microsoft, windows, OneDrive, disable sync value change from 0 to 1 and it will turn it off. I may be a little off this was just from memory.

  • To be fair, you have to have a very high IQ to understand cropped memes. The humour is extremely subtle, and without a solid grasp of memetics and linguistics most of the jokes will go over a typical reader’s head. There’s also the high contrast color pallette, which is deftly woven into the message. Lemmy users understand this stuff; they have the intellectual capacity to truly appreciate the depths of these jokes, to realise that they’re not just funny- they say something deep about LIFE. As a consequence people who dislike cropped memes truly ARE idiots- of course they wouldn’t appreciate, for instance, the humour in longing for the bottom half of the text, “Join our Discord”. I’m smirking right now just imagining one of those addlepated simpletons scratching their heads in confusion as the meme’s genius wit unfolds itself on their smartphone screens. What fools…
