I did what abominable_panda suggested and it returned a “wait_queue_t” and a couple of pointer type errors. I’m not sure if that’s something that could be fixed with installing something else, but I’m not at all familiar with troubleshooting on this OS yet. The troubleshooting part you mentioned is if it successfully installed but there are issues. It doesn’t quite explain the initial installation part.
As for cmnybo’s question, I’m trying to program a ESP32 module with the Arduino IDE. I’ve tried just plugging it in and hoping the driver would already be installed but lsusb doesn’t show it on the results.
Ahora esperemos que Porn Hub anuncie que no va a dar servicio en España como tantos estados Americanos que han hecho lo mismo.
Maybe buy the original on Steam soon just in case they pull a Rockstar.
Vista sucked for sure, but Windows 7 was pretty great IMO. I was dragged kicking and screaming into the shit that’s Windows 10 because Steam stopped supporting 7.
Everybody wants to save the world. They just want it done their way.
Mint works pretty well! I’ve never been much of a power user so using its GUI (Cinnamon 'cause I failed miserably at running KDE) to update and install certain programs is pretty convenient.
Depends on the state. Several are banning 25 year old kei trucks so they wouldn’t outcompete Ford’s latest offering of gas guzzling $80,000 kid-crushing F-150s.
I started playing this the other day on a standard PS4 and the frame rate can be really choppy at times. A PC port taking advantage of modern hardware would be amazing. The art direction’s already perfect, it just needs to run at a frame rate that doesn’t make it difficult to time combat maneuvers.
They’re likely the last group the C-suite listens to so it’s probably a good idea. Shame it won’t happen.
The trick is to crouch down, raise your pitch a little, and call them to you. If your dog’s not too excited they’ll come over without much fuss. It also helps if you have a treat on hand.
Great. Now do Xenogears next.
Interesting. I thought engineers were supposed to be funneled into the companies that make the weapons, not use them. Either way it’s kind of shitty to encourage people to enlist during a major event meant to celebrate their academic achievements.
More funding doesn’t necessarily work in this situation. There’s a big stigma about public transportation in the US where if you take it you’re seen as unsuccessful and poor. It’s also perceived as something like government intrusion whenever infrastructure is built to support it. Minorities would resist any kind of building of rail along their property because they were previously screwed over when several black and poor neighborhoods were bulldozed for the sake of placing freeways. Rich people simply lobby the government to stop construction or hold back on selling their property because they want to gouge them for all they’re worth and sap the project’s funds.
The solution of course would be a bigger willingness for the government to use eminent domain laws to force these projects through but because of the short term nature of their precarious elected positions, officials would rarely do that lest they get voted out in the next election cycle and the project simply stalls out. There’s been some success with private companies building rail, like Brightline, because building public infrastructure in a capitalist way seems to be accepted more by the public thanks to our conditioning of loving the free market.
I remember reading as punishment for the crime and rationale, he was executed and his name forbidden to be mentioned. All this time I thought he was anonymous.
Japan, while being no stranger to political assassinations, was nowhere near as bad as the state Mexico’s in.
It’d be nice if an OS pre installation option was available in the manufacturer’s website. I’m sure Linux would get a bump in popularity by the average person if it led to a dip in their PC/laptop’s overall price.
The damage billionaires can do by leveraging their money is so immense it could financially ruin many people’s lives. How many end up homeless or kill themselves out of despair? Their one life isn’t enough to balance the scales but it’ll send a very clear message to white collar criminals once one is executed: the damage you do is tantamount to first degree murder and will be punished as such.
The context of this story is even sadder than the headline suggests. The 50,000 incarcerated people who were given suffrage are actually those who have been in prison without actually having received their sentence yet. The total prisoner population in Mexico is over 232,000.
This came about only after two indigenous people were arrested and held in prison since 2002 while they were never told what they were arrested for in their native language (they didn’t speak Spanish). Apparently they were tortured too. All the time they never received sentencing so they were still technically innocent and were granted the right to vote in 2018.
You’re right about the bad cable. I have a collection of about 10 USB A to USB micro cables and only one of them showed up on lsusb! Thanks for the advice!
