If a player was actually serious about wanting to do this as more than a meme, and was arguing this hard for it I’d be mad as hell. In this context, though? It’s fine. I think it’s amusing how hard people can stretch the rules. It’s similar to the peasant railgun. Hilarious concept. I’m still not okay with someone trying to actually use a peasant railgun.
I’m really enjoying it quite a lot- I first played around a20, and then I picked it up again recently.
It isn’t a perfect game, but it’s a pretty decent experience that’s very unique.
I don’t think it’s worth $45. That seems a bit excessive. $20 or maybe even $30? Sure.
With that said, I haven’t followed the game’s development at all really. I could see a bunch of broken promises causing some completely understandable frustration with the devs.
Why would they even bother to shut down the wave pool because of that? Fish the thing out, keep going.
Kinda reminds me of a few Sci-Fi settings- Altered Carbon has people that enjoy murdering people, and since people can swap bodies freely that sort of thing is easily done. There’s an explicit difference between ‘sleeve death’ and ‘real death’, even legally. Killing someone’s sleeve- or body- is a crime, but it’s not murder anymore. If you actually destroy the lil chip that actually contains the person, that’s ‘real death’. Man I love that show. S1, at least.
Alternatively, Cyberpunk with it’s braindances could cater to an extremely similar audience.
I’m immediately not at all impressed with this. Gameplay wise it looks more like a Kingdoms of Amalur sequel than a Dragon Age sequel. And having companions that you can just command like in Mass Effect is a terrible idea for this kind of game. Plus it seems like the enemies entirely ignore your companions anyways.

Having a patreon is reasonably common nowadays, actually locking content behind it is not common.
To further explain, since I’m assuming you’re not a native speaker: the n-word can be two words, one ending in a hard r sound and one ending in an a sound. Hard r n-word is generally considered drastically more offensive. I wouldn’t suggest using either, to be entirely clear, but they’re very much different levels.

Yeah, I also really enjoy immersive sims. Shame that there’s not more of them. I will mention that Dishonored 2 is somewhat hit or miss with people. I think everyone tends to agree that it’s at least decent, but how it holds up to the first game is a pretty divisive topic in my experience.
Arkane’s immersive sims are fantastic. Dishonored 1 and 2 and Prey (2017). Brilliant worldbuilding and interesting stories that you can interact with. I don’t think either is particularly stat heavy or grindy, but I have an extremely high tolerance for that sort of thing so maybe my perspective is skewed.
Yeah, fair enough. Casting it enough to make it permanent would be 26,500gp. Which isn’t a tiny amount in a general sense, but by level 15 it shouldn’t be a major amount of gold honestly. I’d be more concerned with finding that many diamonds frankly.
It was originally basically a shorthand for budget. A list actors, A list director, a list studio = a AAA movie. I think? All of those things cost money, so…

Yeah, that’s always been one of my issues with Sea Of Thieves. I’m just tryna dig up treasure and fight some skeletons, man. I don’t need Chadbeard boarding my ship and spawn camping me and my homies.
It’s been in development hell for like 11 years so people had low expectations, and it ended up being reasonably accurate.
It’s just Black Flag, except notably worse and multiplayer. It was also on the expensive side @ $70, and someone at Ubisoft defended the price increase by calling it “the worlds first AAAA game.” which was just stupid.
As someone that very much does not enjoy Sea Of Thieves I was kinda hoping it would scratch my pirate game itch, but nah I’ll just replay Black Flag lol.
I would love to see the old PS2 third person platformers ported/remastered onto PC. Sly Cooper 1-3(Sly 4 I guess), Jak 1-3(And Jak X I guess), and all the Ratchet and Clank games. You can play them via RPCS3 and PCSX2, but that’s not a substitute for a proper port imo.
I think that it’d be reasonable to do controller-friendly ports.
At least some Paradox games have console ports. Stellaris, for example, is on PS4/Xbox One. It’s a serviceable port, but it plays much better on mnk.
