Something would happen on the micro level. Some families would fight over the power vacuum, other families would slowly fall into obscurity due to the loss of a loved one, some might spend resources to track down information, some might a come to Jesus moment about the wealth, etc.

Would anything change on the macro level? Doubtful. New people will rise to the top as the system that created unimaginable wealth still exists.

I never create a backstory. All my characters had personalities, different ways of solving problems, and I acted out the characters in their own unique ways.

All my characters are built around an idea. Ideas like “Kobold snake oil salesman”, “Necromancer Child Edutainer”, “Skaven Engineer”, “Communist Dwarf”, “A delusional ghoul named Jeff Bezos”, etc.

Since, I do a lot of improvisation, not having a back story allows me to adapt my character to the story.

I imagine everyone said this about video cameras, turns out crime still happens. AI is only as good as the programmers who designed it.
