Seems to have happened to everything but Costco’s food court. I guess it’s a strategy to get people in the door. Their hotdog/drink combo is still $1.50.
It’s already becoming low quality crap. The GamePass model doesn’t work well with expensive games since they are going for quantity. Hi Fi Rush’s devs have been taken down along with a couple more studios. I wonder if that will make a difference, though. Gamers want it cheap, companies want max profit. I’m imagining shovelware in 5 years and many games taken off of it.
Stands for Battle and Scout I believe.
From what I heard is that it uses a lot of RAM so it can run faster and will smartly lower its RAM usage if you are running low.
I guess it depends on what you consider artifacts. 7% of every human who has ever lived is alive today. You can say many of the things people have owned are lost and some might be valuable to someone in the future. So much of our lives are online. I wonder how much of it will survive 100 years.
Got the A-1 iPad mini for reading and never installed Youtube on it. It is my dedicated reading tablet and I love it. Usually I wouldn’t buy Apple products, but the new processor had me feeling a bit excited. The Kindle Paperwhite and Kindle Fire 13" both had glaring issues and reading the internet’s negative views on android tablets left me feeling meh. The better kindle e-readers are really expensive too so I thought to just buy a fully functional high quality tablet instead.
People like being social and having discourse online. Probably what brought you here in the first place.
Heard people saying it was Valve who took it off those countries. Do we know for sure if it was Valve or Sony?

Just looked it up and it came out 2.5 years ago. I swear it just came out. Stop making me feel old.
Fallout 4 is the next Skyrim?
So you’re saying ADHD has saved many people’s eyesight?
Most flagships are good for that. If it is water resistant at all it should be alright. Problem then is that the water will make it really difficult to use the touch screen.
IDK much about Korea, but in Japan higher ups are held accountable a lot more.
When we either educate everybody or get regulations against it. That is to say, never.
A major portion of movies are visuals so watching it while playing a game makes it difficult to catch those parts. Also if I have to tune it out so I can concentrate in-game I will be lost when I tune back in. With a commentary video I don’t have to do so because either I don’t care as much, they’ll repeat important information, or context clues are easier to piece together. I also don’t watch too many movies. I’m mostly talking about just extra long videos not talking about movies.I do watch a lot of gaming retrospectives, though.
For me it’s because you can do something else while watching the video. Like play a game.
Yes, but those aren’t the companies that would have replaced Steam if they weren’t successful. It would’ve been a company like Microsoft, EA, Ubisoft, or Blizzard who would’ve taken over the game distribution market. Valve is a saint compared to any of those companies. As much as we wish for everything to be DRM free it would never happen. At least not with the current market. Also, the average person doesn’t care about DRM. They don’t understand the implications of what makes an ethical market. They just want to install a game and hit start.
