I had a case where fingerprint sensor was working out of the box fortunately. Although I had a problem where cryptfs would stop authenticating successfully with fingerprint sensor after distro update

The comedy is that my banking app refuses to use biometrics (after update), because it says I have ““not original”” ROM, which is false. If this goes further I will flash firmware just for that app to think I have original ROM.
During install that fucked me up. I found out I only could boot pop os only when booting win 10 bootloader. After bricking distro, moved on to mint.

I think Valve in on very early steps of enshittification. Maybe not everyone, but most companies started like that. I mean being nice to users. Counterargument to my claim is that they are already millionaires, which is true, but humans’ greed may be limitless.

I’ll play devil’s advocate here: I’m on the side with destigmatizing credit cards, as it just propels the bank’s wallets with interest. But if you don’t have money, and absolutely must get on credit to hang on to your life, I think you should, but you should also work toward repaying the debt you’ve grown.
