That’s where I am these days.
That’s where I am these days.
I’ve been the person to buy a console when there’s the killer game/feature worth upgrading for.
Historically I’ve bought the bundles with a few games just in time for the new launch of a new software.
I ended up with a PS2/GameCube/Wii, a PS3/Xbox360/WiiU and PS4/Xbox One/Switch. I don’t mind buying consoles to play a few games.
That moment just hasn’t happened this generation. I can still play most of the big exclusives on the last gen hardware anyways.
They’re just going to order whatever they like anyways.
It requires personally identifying information to login. That’s a hard pass for menu people.
There’s nothing wrong with buying early access games. You as a buyer just need to be happy with the current state of the game at the time of purchase.
The youngest and least qualified member of the supreme Court who was forced through in the waning days of Trump’s administration, Amy Coney Barrett, was raised as and is still a member of the People of Praise, a para-church organization which consists mostly of Catholic members. People of Praise is a highly conservative organization that touts strong gender roles and is overall highly secretive.
At one point it is believed that Coney Barrett was the highest rank a woman could have in the organization, with the title of “Handmaid”.
During Amy Coney Barret’s confirmation hearings, the people of Praise purged all records of their magazine and member profiles from their website.
The People of Praise organization has been accused of covering up for child abusers on multiple occasions.

Thank goodness someone posted this video. I was about to be very disappointed.
I have no data to back this up, but I seem to find that regions at Northern latitudes tend to have higher rates of alcoholism. I think it has something to do with long winter nights and people being able to find a sense of community in a pub/bar/Ratskeller after the sun goes down at 16:00 for half the year.
The US is much further south than most of Europe AND there are large regions that are very anti-alcohol due to religious reasons.
They took it down. The Mod team said people were spamming it with CP. Fucking assholes.
Conservation of momentum is based on Newton’s first law which states “a body at rest tends to stay at rest” so that would imply A. not B.
Those dudes were just chilling, and would still be laying there chilling.
"If you try to hack a US intelligence or defence agencies and fail, you go to prison.
If you do hack the US intelligence or defence agencies and, you get a job."
My high school comp-sci teacher.
I get this was a competition in this instance though. These guys will certainly have jobs if they want them.
It’s exactly what a sitcom is supposed to be. Light watching that’s generally funny. Also if you miss an episode or two here and there it’s easy enough to pick up what’s going on.
And have felt super cool and like a total loser doing both.
The federal government has acknowledged they’re limiting their hiring pool and has started slowly rolling back some of their requirements.
Basically Succession because the characters are always trying to set up their own personal fall guys.
This is one thing continually overlooked when people bring up trade careers.
I agree, it’s solid (and for me) fun & gratifying work. I really enjoyed my time in the field and wouldn’t trade it for anything.
If it’s a skilled trade you can make more money than a lot of recent college graduates as well.
But to your point, it WILL absolutely chew your body up over time and construction sites are an exceptionally dangerous work environment. You can do everything right and some asshole not paying attention can cause life changing injuries to occur.
My advice for anyone looking at going into the trades is to get a few years under your belt, get some certifications and then find your way into an office management position.
He is perceived as such by a large subset of the population.
and Russia was previously socialist and communist
The current Russian regime uses heavy Anti-Soviet messaging, and demonizes socialism as much as American conservative politics. The USSR wasn’t great for a lot of Russians.
Also they say they don’t like government to control things
I think emphasis here needs to be on “they say”, yet most non-economic policy American conservatives tout (aka the culture wars) is about injecting more government intervention in the day to day lives of Americans. Ex: Christian Prayer in schools, banning books from libraries, anti-drag bills, banning racial-inequality education, anti-gay legislation, the list goes on and on. American conservatives would love as much control over their population as Russia exerts on theirs.
They hate on NPR and call it state sponsored
Which fits their narrative, when in reality NPR only receives around 5% of government funding. They don’t like NPR because they aren’t easily able to be bought due to being largely crowd funded and won’t immediately parrot their talking points. They would love a state funded media company that parroted their talking points which Fox News comfortably does.
If American conservatives actually believed the their talking points then yes they would be vehemently anti-Russian, but they don’t. They’re only pro-power which the Russian government has figured out within their borders.
Has anyone found an alternative to r/outside?
If he is worse than Elon, he at least has the decency to hide it.
