It’s funny, I own a switch and I would have bought the game (and I probably will still if the technical and QoL issues get resolved) but I’m emulating it better than the hardware can run it right now.
Oh god, please don’t make me talk about myself.

I like it more, but I’m a fan of the more classic Zeldas. It’s good, but it’s marred by the same technical issues that plagued the LA remake, and the lack of some basic QoL features like a Quick Select or Favorites wheel is bringing it from ‘great’ to ‘good.’
My next board and all for the foreseeable future will be AMD. I’m only rocking a 13600K right now and I haven’t had any issues, but the last bios update I did specifically to get the first microcode update wiped my GPU drivers, and the gigabyte update platform installed Norton and some other network monitoring software without my consent.
God I would love for Total Distortion to show up on GOG or Steam one day.
Think about how many times in the last few months Trump has complained about the rigged trials. Now imagine him being able to unilaterally decide which investigations are lawful and which aren’t.
That’s the joke. It’s (sarcastically) portraying Bezos as the one getting the raw end of the deal.
I actually really like the SNES game, it is objectively not great though. You can’t even save, so emulation is a must unless you can dedicate an 8-10 hour sitting to it.
Particularly that it switches between top-down outdoors and a pseudo-FPS indoors, and the claustrophobic interiors and darker music give it a lot of charm.
Yeah, it’s incredible how the ‘seethe and cope’ crew never get called out on being shit-stirrers and directly attacking liberals, but the minute you make a joke about convicted felon Donald Trump, all of a sudden cries for ‘unity’ and ‘civility’ come out of the woodwork.
Almost like they’re massive hypocrites who never gave a flying fuck about unity and use crocodile tears and both sides-ism to avoid accountability for the things they say and do.
“I’m especially good at defenestrating!”
And they’re probably carving themselves a nice bonus out of the tax write-off for the studio closure.
I mean, let’s not forget that the early consoles had their own pitfalls, a period of gaming that spawned tropes like ‘Nintendo Hard’ and ‘Guide Dang It’ in order to, among other things, pad out the length of what we would consider an otherwise barebones game, and to sell time on their hints and tips hotline. I do feel like there was less bullshit in the past, but it definitely still existed.
I don’t know what that is - I’ll have to look into it on Monday.
I actually found a file format that VLC won’t play, .MJP, yanked off of our network’s security camera system. It requires the security company’s proprietary video player.
I mean, let’s not pretend Ford was paying his employees well and setting workweek standards because it was the right thing to do either - he did it because he wanted to retain productive employees and also to make them customers, and that it happened to actually be beneficial for them and the working world at large is a byproduct. Not often mentioned with that $5 workday is the fact that he would send agents to employees’ homes to ensure they were being kept clean and that the employees themselves weren’t drinking.
I preferred the switch lite with a protective case that gave the grips a little more body, made it way more comfortable to hold. At least until I picked up a Steam Deck, which ended up being pretty much everything I wanted out of portable gaming, and waaaay easier to emulate on.
Yeah, even with years of experience, LI has been my go-to for speccing out a build. They update pretty regularly and they offer tiers even without dGPUs that’ll still hold up for last-gen gaming. Good way to introduce people to the basics of computing hardware.
SAY IT!
