Yep turns out it was a connect app issue
Yep turns out you’re right, the Connect app seems to work with all the http links whereas the ! links don’t work. On the Jerboa app it’s the opposite so the ! links work but the http links don’t.
For some reason the link posted by Ghostalmedia worked for me but the link posted by the bot didn’t. Can anyone explain why? Is it just because I’m on the lemmy.world instance?

I love me some baby guiness but didn’t realise it’s a holiday thing. I may need to make a couple for Christmas this year
