Was it actually damaged? Seems like the only damage done was to the frame.

Might be able to do that by extending the responsibilities of the secret service for such things. Or having the NSA on top of that shit.
I always trust that feeling, what’s the downside to not doing so, other than time?
Yeah, the anxiety and paranoia thing weakened for me a year ago after I took shrooms for the first time. The strength of the social anxiety and paranoia hasn’t come back, permanently weakened I feel.
I feel like this is played out advice, but, if you don’t have a family history of schizophrenia or personal history of psychosis…shrooms are nice.
I think there’s a limit to that though, infohazards like how to make a bomb from common household materials and the like for example. In fact, the show mythbusters once made an episode about this exact topic, and they thank God, decided that it’d be responsible to censor/not air one of the tests they had conducted as it would be harmful if such information got out. Statistically, you know a few people would’ve tried out that recipe and blown their fingers off or something. I’m pretty sure I know what that compound was, and it’s the same explosive that basically got the TSA banning liquid containers over 100mls or some shit.
Would you say that memes(in the sense of ideas with memetic properties that allow it to spread virally with great efficiency) such as QAnon or antivax, are they good for a democratic society? How about meme complexes(a collection of memes) like fascism or authoritarian ideologies? Don’t get me wrong, exchange of ideas are good, but there are certain memes and ideas that must be argued against and fought, perhaps with our own memes and meme complexes. And if these memes and ideas are made less viable in terms of their ability to spread from the vaccine of counterargument and counter memery, then I say that’s good.
"Memetics deals with information transfer, specifically cultural information in society. The basic idea is to conflate the exchange of information between people with genetic material, to track the mutation of ideas as they are transmitted from one person to the next in the way you could track viral transmissions and mutations. However, a meme also provides benefits to the carrier if they spread it.
Understanding the true nature of memetic threats is critical to surviving them. You cannot wear a special set of magical goggles made of telekill to protect yourself from a meme. THE GOGGLES DO NOTHING. If you just read those words in your head with a bad Teutonic accent, congratulations on being victim to yet another memetic effect. If you did not know that phrase was an oft-repeated quote from the Simpsons then congratulations; you are now infected with that knowledge and are free to participate in its spread.
A meme perpetuates itself by being beneficial to the carrier to spread to new hosts. You now understand that THE GOGGLES DO NOTHING; you’re in on the joke. However, you might have friends who aren’t, and don’t get it. It benefits you to explain them, because then you both have something new to laugh together about when it gets brought up. This is what makes a meme effective - how much incentive a carrier has to spread it. Unless an anomalous meme’s effect is the compulsive urge for the carrier to infect others, there needs to be incentive to spread it."
"An antimeme is an idea with self-censoring properties; an idea which, by its intrinsic nature, discourages or prevents people from spreading it.
Antimemes are real. Think of any piece of information which you wouldn’t share with anybody, like passwords, taboos and dirty secrets. Or any piece of information which would be difficult to share even if you tried: complex equations, very boring passages of text, large blocks of random numbers, and dreams…" -SCP Foundation Antiemetics division
Lol if they didn’t sign the treaty, they didn’t sign it. It’s their land.
From a comment below, Valve as a whole supposedly has around 350, of which around 80 work on Steam.
No man’s sky is actually a pretty cool game.
Sorry I keep editing my original post, added a few things. I don’t disagree with that sentiment. Just thought I’d put out some information that not a lot of people here in the US or in Europe, may know much about.
The “Han Chinese” ethnic category is actually a lot less secure in its definition than one would think. Not defending the Chinese government, far from it actually. The CCP has a vested interest in promoting a unitary ethnic identity in the idea of “Han Chinese”.
Despite that though, strong identities often tied to the various unique cultural differences and “dialects”(modern day linguists often consider alot of these “Han Chinese” dialects as really, distinct languages with unique and sometimes mutually unintelligible phonetic differences, with the caveat being somewhat similar grammar, tied together through a common logographic script and considered part of a broader family tree of sinitic languages), survive despite that.
It’s why overseas Chinese who sequester themselves in various Chinese communities, oftentimes identify as “Cantonese” or “Teochew” and other terms that, although tied to this greater “idea” of “Han Chinese”, they think to be distinct from one another.
Like they were their own ethnic groups.
“Han Chinese” is, at least I think, an idea closer to pan-ethnicity, than it is it’s own ethnicity.
When it comes to the Chinese language, the main “dialect” is mandarin, and the CCP has done a good job in slowly eradicating other “dialects”(languages). With one of their strategies being, well, classifying as many sinitic languages as possible as, “dialects”. The loss of these “dialects”, these languages, are tragic.

Edit Addendum: In any case this shit complex and nuanced and shit. I’ll post an interesting article here, because I think it applies. https://www.michigandaily.com/michigan-in-color/taishanese-family-and-other-fading-things/
In any case Fuck the CCP!
I wonder what the upper limit of the 400k tax bracket is?
Don’t get me wrong, I don’t like this too, but let’s be realistic. The rich wield political influence through their funding of various media and propaganda groups, which tends to have a big effect on a population. Then again this is France, and maybe my American cynicism is bleeding through…
The most likely thing that will happen is the rich renouncing citizenship and leaving the country.
I think the reason “new math” gets flack, is because it’s a new way of teaching math, and alot of teachers aren’t as good at teaching in that way yet. Still, kids should be taught that it can be a way one does calculations. Another thing I think should be incorporated into early childhood education is the use of an abacus, the Japanese do this and it supposedly helps greatly with mental math.
My thought is maybe either food or arms or research for arms production/nukes from the Russians.
Edit Addendum: the article says as much actually lol. This is what I get for just trying to get an idea of NK actions from the title.
Holy shit they look nice though. Green is one of my favorite colors, and man do those look cool.
