The court froze government decisions from March 24 and March 31 that dealt with appointing a new council to the Second Authority. The practical meaning was that the outgoing council would remain in place in its current composition and would not be replaced for now.

In their decision, the justices pointed to what they called a “puzzling proximity in time” between the resignations of several council members, requests by the communications minister and earlier High Court decisions. They also noted that most of the members who resigned from the current council asked to continue serving on the new one.

The court wrote that, on its face, this conduct did not align with council members’ duty of loyalty under the Second Authority Law. It therefore took the unusual step of ruling that the members who resigned would not, at this stage, be counted for purposes of determining the current council’s quorum.

The justices said the decision was necessary under “unique and exceptional circumstances” to prevent what they described as a deliberate attempt to obstruct and paralyze the council’s work during the interim order.

So the court thinks there is corruption due to the resignations, and calls for a hold. The gov says they were following the law so it’s fine.

The other catch with this one is it was a bad call, and the review board might have been reversing it regardless of Trump’s call. Oh well.

AI is a tool to enhance a workflow, and as long as a skilled human is reviewing it and fixing it, fine.

• Paid closed source = Advertisement, ban.
• FOSS without free self hosting = Advertisement, ban.
• FOSS with self-hosting but some self-hosted features are paid = Still an advertisement, but MAYBE acceptable if we are being lenient. I don’t like it, personally.
• FOSS with free self-hosting and paid hosted services = Good for them, play on.

Not if the option is configurable. This is akin to how Rocket League has all kinds of stylistic options, but most pros disable them all. I’m sure that will hold true for their UE6 migration, too.

In the world where we don’t shoot from the hip, there are different factors for different things.

For example, Covid, and the mass use of video calls and TikTok that came with it, brought about the “flat features” phenomenon from cameras, which drove a huge increase in lip fillers and other botox to help people stand out.

But things like Ozempic are very different, as they are used much more by those who can truly benefit from them to reduce other medical issues that come with weight.

And to be clear, none of these things are bad. For many they are not needed (in the opinions of others, often myself, too), but that does not make them bad.
