Is the free API part actually true for Sparkasse? I was not able to find an API solution for them. I did find something, but beyond a certain step, there wasn’t an actual API.

macOS is mostly the same as Windows in terms of updating Applications.

The App Store is more prevalent than Microsoft Store, but you can still download an executable for most programs from the browser. Installing is a bit different since you drop the file into the app folder instead of actually having an installation executable.

Then there is homebrew, which is an unofficial package manager, which I am using for everything, if available (which is almost all the time)

The rereleasing was kind of a fan service. EA wanted to add some older titles on Steam, some CNC fans at EA heard about it and pushed them to also add CNC to it. I’m also now holding off with purchasing the collection with hopes of a generals remaster… one can only hope, lol.

I’m guessing it’s a bug/texture glitch. Since your mates couldn’t see it, I guess it was loaded by error or very likely by a hacker. Probably your game couldn’t handle it and the texture loading for it went wrong because of that.

That’s nice, always wanted to have some cli tool for making memes. Features I’d like

• Write the text on top of the image, not above it (already asked by others)
• add a third parameter to be able to add a bottom caption
• maybe it would be cool to ship with assets of the most known meme templates, either baked in or just as an additional folder, or maybe an online api, lol.

Well, it could just be a temporary plateau and later could continue to rise still. Even a plateau is better than a continuous rise I guess, but doesn’t mean that it’ll decrease only from now on :)

I don’t want to paint a dark picture or be a pessimistic guy or anything, just writing my thoughts. All in for everybody lowering emissions :)

I was all in for social distancing and so on for the time when covid was new and we didn’t have vaccines etc., but it also did a lot of damage to young people, me somewhat included. That idea has a good intention, but it will do more damage in other sectors than it does good in that sector.

We need to change how power distribution works. That’s just the point. There are easy ways to store power that’s generated by day. And since we don’t just focus on one single renewable energy source, it’s not even half as bad as you’re drawing the picture here.

Edit: since this is my only comment in here, I also want to point out that the chart is rising last year, I think/hope that it will continue rising. (Until CDU steps in again because people think “Hey there last years were so terrible, everything got more pricy and so on, that’s definitely on SPD, green, FDP, not just a random situation in the Ukraine” and vote for them…)

Where are we talking about installing malware? This could be implemented by the os itself, like many other similar things in the last years as well (password storage, covid nearby activity, …). The os could just ask the user to verify his age by identity card or similar, would then store a flag after verification and a browser -> website can access this.

The only problem I see with this, if there is no verification on the other side, you could “just” have a browser which tells the website that the user is adult, no matter what, or, if it’s more dedicated, could even use a modified version of Linux to always have the flag set, haha.
