You can’t, constantly washing hands…
An overly expensive crown.
True. Mac users couldn’t handle that much glory on their hands.
Every social media platform with a feed uses some system to rank content for its individual users. This can be abused to subtly influence users.
You say TikTok has never harmed you but the truth is you probably wouldn’t know. You just changed your mind about certain things over time.
That problem is certainly not specific to TikTok and I personally avoid also YouTube, Reddit or anything Facebook but it’s not hard to believe that a Chinese or Russian platform is even less hesitant to influence elections, for example.

I just followed the note that’s mentioned on the top of your link and installed the Nvidia driver as dkms package. I originally did that because of trouble with a new driver version and temporary downgrading is much smoother with dkms.
Also never had issues with the DE starting properly after upgrade since then.
Oh, many more were upset - just too lazy to inconvenience themselves with switching platforms.
Well, trying to take your point seriously I guess you could argue that companies with paying customers do have an incentive to keep stuff compatible. However, also FOSS devs don’t like public shitstorms by their users which should be a similarly effective.
However, you just argue based on annecodotal evidence without explaining how your examples are exclusive to FOSS.

learning programming is BORING
Then it’s not for you. No shame in that. I don’t understand the notion that everyone is supposed to be a coder now.
If anything, the low-level coding part is something AI models may well make obsolete relatively soon. Unlike any craftsmanship - why not learn masonry or carpentry instead?

I like pacman too but I will probably never get comfortable with its arguments. It’s worse than tar which has already become a meme. apt is more intuitive to use.
127.0.0.1 then?
