You’re not wrong but I realised my niece doesn’t have that level of responsibility. If there’s a smelly bin she’ll just expect her mum to sort it out or disappear so she doesn’t have to deal with it.

My sister once asked if I could help with the kitchen sink in her house as it was blocked. I started taking waste pipes off and quickly realised there’s a bunch of sardines stuck in one pipe. Her 15 year old daughter had shoved fish down the waste pipe of the sink rather than putting them in the bin. I still can’t understand the logic in her head. Surely it’s more difficult to push fish through the small holes at the bottom of the sink than it is to take 2 steps towards the bin.

This is great. My six year old son likes to play a game called “what’s a sandwich” where we pretend the name sandwich doesn’t exist and we have to explain how it’s made then pretend the chef serves misunderstood dish. He’ll love this picture.

I find it fascinating that banana plants are mostly all clones. This puts them in great danger of disease.

I’ve been upset for about 10 years or so. I used to use the Love Film service where I got two Blu-ray at a time posted to me. The company was bought my Amazon. Ok, don’t like Amazon but that’s fine, I like the service still. They then incorporate it into their Prime package. I didn’t want anything else, just discs by post. To retain the disc service it cost more than just prime as prime was a requirement. They sneaked Prime onto my account without me realising and the price went up. They were phasing people from discs to online by making it the cheaper option. They then phased the disc service out altogether.

They literally bought Love Film to shut it down.

I’m was happy renting blurays. I switched to buying Blu-ray for a while but I have no where to keep a collection. So I have up and switched to Kodi.

Quite sad really. I still have what were then two good quality Blu-ray players now collecting dust. I sometimes look at them and think one day…

I liked it

I used it for a short time when it first came out. I went back for another look recently. I haven’t a clue what is what. So much going on. I thought I don’t wish to spend the time learning something I probably will use a couple of times a week.

Is this what getting old feels like?

The fishing thing is a good example of how Brexit was handled. Fishing has been stirred up by the media for decades causing some strong feelings against the French and Europe. While fishing is pretty meaningless for the average person it became important because people who read certain newspapers thought it was important. That, to me, seems like the backbone of Brexit. Shite from newspapers.

I’m convinced all the talk about fishing was to stir up these feelings in the public and use it to the politicians will. Raising it with the EU was a message to the people that their concerns are being addressed. Illusion of the people having power.

Speaking to people who voted to leave I had answers like fishing given. Other answers were that people didn’t like talking orders from Brussels, that was more common than fishing. Some racist comments (some REALLY racist). And one person claiming after Brexit he will get gold capped milk back (apparently the EU banned his favourite milk, and that alone was worth leaving the EU…). I know a few people who didn’t know what to vote for so went with the “default” to leave. I’m assuming they meant they just followed the crap in the news and didn’t apply proper thought.

This media bollocks is still happening now. I saw the other day an article about being able to buy wine in pints. Sigh.

It really was a shit show and still is!

Aye you taking about hot seasoning? We do this is we’re not wanting it too hot. It’s also great keeping the left over seasoning for other meals.

The UK version was narrated by Craig Charles and he really made it better just by adding silly comments over the top. I always used to laugh when the water cannon challenge was on and he would excitedly say “don’t let them penetrate your rings”

I went to a restaurant when they started re-opening. We were speaking to one of the waiters about it. He said he has autism and makes involuntary mouth movements. He said the mask helps customers as much as him about getting awkward when his twitch goes off.

It’s for angling with it’s back more towards the door in case the Mrs walks in. It buys a few more seconds of safety.

I think they are referring to the schools view on the cut and not aimed at you.
