Translated : I don’t know shit, so you can’t know shit. Corporations are gouging my shit, and I mad at Democrats for it.
You got a solution, or anything new to add to the conversation? Or are you just going to whine like everyone else?
Cause frankly, I don’t have a fix for this. At least not one that is overly authoritarian, like controlling every piece of media that is available to children, and creating a guide for what characteristics of different role models should be emulated, and what should be avoided.
Maybe at a certain point, it is up to the individual to form their own set of desirable positive characteristics and seek to incorporate those traits into themselves. We can’t (or really shouldn’t) just thought and content police everything for every child. They have growth and developement that the must do for themselves, no one else can do it for them.
I really have no idea how we fix that on the internet. I guess volunteer for big brothers/big sisters if you can.
Maybe young men should build a role-model construct of good qualities they see rather than idolize a single patriarchal figure and seek to emulate them, including their flaws.
Speaking as someone who was fortunate to have a decent dad, and a decent step dad, who were radically different.
Not to mention, the book is probably going to list look-alike plants, and mention if they are toxic. AI is just going to go “It’s this thing”.
Clockwise, counter clockwise. Classic time shorthand (IE, half past ten, quarter to eleven). Time estimations (easy to see a half minute on a analog clock, digital just goes from 2:00 to 2:01)
I think analog clock displays are more elegant, and are overall nicer than digital. Personal preference though.
I had the FX8350 Black Edition, and that thing would keep my room at 70f… In the winter… With a window open.
Summer gaming was BSOD city. I miss it so much.
Worse, they’re scoped down both ends while inside a live streaming MRI machine.
Maybe. I’d expect the sediment and rocks to be settling down instead of of up. I’m in the 80% sure range that this is right-side up.
I think it is a free diver sitting on the edge of a blue hole.
Something overflowed somewhere…
This is the computer equivalent of “I don’t wear a seatbelt because I don’t want to be trapped in the car if there is an accident.”
“I reboot it every night.”

You can either tell me what I want to know, or your corpse can. slaps Speak with Dead Scroll against palm
Another way to think about it… YouTube has huge amounts of compute resources, but per user it’s an extremely small amount. Your phone has orders of magnitude more power to dedicate to you than YouTube does. Collectively, we have more processing power than YouTube.
Former 5 time a week gym member here.
Treadmill at the gym has HVAC, no cars that blow red lights and almost kill you. You can have a conversation with someone while you are on treadmill or you can safely put on headphones and rock out. You can run yourself ragged, and all the water and benches you want are just a few feet away instead of being another exausting run back to your house. The gym is usually secured with a key or fob. There are other runners there who have great knowledge about shoes, technique/form, workout routines…etc etc.
Lots of reasons why you would drive to the gym and run, instead of just running to the gym.
Bro, don’t get me started…
I’m out here in the 34^vz dimension, and a gallon of gas costs more than I make in a year, partly because there is only one dimension at this time that still hasn’t stopped burning fossil fuels, despite the immense and obvious damage it does to the environment, but also because we here in 34^vz have evolved past the concept of money.
