I spent thousands on therapy and got absolutely nothing out of it. If you’re already capable of self-analysis there’s a real chance it’ll do nothing for you. I understand this might be unfashionable to point out.
Also, the endless paperwork and questions for months on end before you even get to talk about your problems.
It’s especially infuriating because if I had money coming out my ears I’m sure an expensive psychologist wouldn’t force me through all this data collection that I am forced to suffer because I am poor. The well-to-do just get to go in and talk.
